Description of a person - Jim Morrison

Near to rockstars, we find the singer Jim Morrison who was the leader of the band The Doors, regarded as one of the most iconic and influential frontmen in rock music history because of his wild personality, songwriting, theatrical acts, etc. He was born the 8th of December of 1943 in Melbourne, Florida (US) and he died the 3th of July of 1971 in Paris, France, because of a heart attack brought on by drugs and alcohol. Although his original name is James Douglas Morrison, he invented a nickname which was “The Lizard King” due to his passion for reptiles.

Talking about his physical appearance, Morrison was rather attractive. It’s unavoidable to look to those clear and seductive eyes. He had a round face with a structured jaw, a medium size nose with a freckle on the left, and a beautiful lips. Apart from his peculiar face expression, his curly brown hair made him quite characteristic. Also, he used to wear shirts (always trying to show some chest hair) and leather pants and leather coats too.

Focusing on his personal traits, Jim wasn’t only a singer but a songwriter and a poet. He was full of ideals that he faithfully followed without letting anyone to stop him. He had it all: the voice, the charisma, the gaze, the mystery, the improvisation, the rebelliousness, the point of madness, the beauty, the oratory, the sensuality, the leadership, theatricality, courage, talent for music, etc. For all that he is one of the most desired and admired men in history. However, he was also introverted and he often avoided socializing.

Finally, I decided to talk about this iconic singer because I like him and I really enjoy listening to his songs. Besides, I have known him and his band for a year and their music makes me feel awesome. If I hadn’t discovered this amazing group, I would never have felt like that way.
